Are you painting it in your garage? I can bend some aluminum for you. How big are the pieces?

Bugski what are you up to? Anyone doing anything on their dune buggy/sand rail? Mine is stored up north for the winter while I work on other projects like my 1938 Ford.

Whats up hotrod? Mine is stored for the winter, been getting my snowmobiles going. Planing on upgrading the transaxle and the front end. Hopefully going to upgrade on the motor, either buy a 2226 or just buy a bigbore kit for the 1600. Dont know yet. Also im going to be getting a demolition derby car for the 4h fairs around town next summer. Just got all the rules for how to build a car by there specs. What you doing to the ford???

I put a high torque starter in the 38 Ford and I lined up the gear manually buy for some reason it misses the ring gear. Have to check that out also need to finish the center console for the interior. I hardly drove it this year after getting the sand rail. Want to do some work on the 1967 Jeepster header on the right side. It needs to be cut, bent and welded to miss hitting the frame. CJ5 headers won't fit out of the box. I sold the 65 Impala convertible so thats out of the garage. Like to get under the 65 Riviera and make sure everything looks OK now that I finished welding in the new floor sections and before I put down some Dynamat and carpeting. Need to get in the woods outback and cut some firewood to heat the garage this winter. Think half the trees back there are dead Ash

Finally put the new Chevy 350 engine in the boat. Sandtrap87 helped me with it. Now I have to take the outdrive in and have it checked. Should be ready for the water next spring.

Just want to wish all my fellow dune buggy/sandrail friends a HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Sure we all have much to be thankful for. Don't eat too much, you won't fit into your vehicle next spring.

Just found the site. Nice to know I'm not the only one around who enjoys Buggys. I'm presently building a Baja. Unfortunetly I probably won't have it done in time for this summer. Presently bending cage and mocking up the suspension.

Welcome twobeers...!!!! Things are kind of slow around here this time of year. We do some back roads and car cruises when it's warmer. Good luck finding that part.
