Before you adjust your valves, take your rocker arm assemblies off (2 nuts) and retorque the lower four nuts holding you cylinder head. You can only get to the lower four nuts. The upper nuts are covered by the cooling tin. Don't be surprised if they need tightening. Torque to 23 ft. lbs on head nuts working from inside nuts to outside ones and 18 ft. lbs on rocker arm assy. Now your ready to set the valves and should be done every 4,000 miles.
